What you should know about IPA (India pale ale) beers

India Pale Ale or often called by its nickname IPA is a gift to the world from the folks that improved temperature controls in the oven and a brewer named Hogdon. Pale ale came first in the mid 1700's when brewers learned to control the kilns that dried the barley to halt the malting process. The results were a smoother paler in color ale and people liked it.
