I've loved to write since I was 9 years old and I'm now past the half century mark. It's been like a lifeline as I tried to find my way in this big, wonderful but sometimes cruel & harsh thing we call life.
Most of the items I've had published were either + more bio information
A Father Forever As I come to you in childlike faith, Lord Until I can walk be the arms that carry me. Then as I take my first steps & start to fall Be the hands that hold me steady. As I begin to run, keep pace beside me Encourage me when I slack. As my feet become sure, my eyes toward ... More..
Joseph Loved Too Tiny fingers curled 'round yours Trusting eyes that at you smile The angel said it was the son of God To you he was just your child. You never saw his death. But you watched his life As quietly he grew Into a man that was his father's pride... More..
I lay in the bed and stare at the wall Exercise and bounce a ball But still I can't find release. I lick a sucker and chew some gum Pace the floor and twiddle my thumbs But Lord it sure has a hold on me. Finally I go to sleep The only place I get any peace And then it becomes a dream. It's just not as obvious to the rest of the world. Who else besides a pregnant woman would think it's perfectly natural to drive across town in a blizzard... More..
Though no one believes the health care system isn't in need of serious reform most politicians still don't understand what the real problem is. President Obama has a better understanding than the previous ones. But even he doesn't really get it. Over 50% of our economy is generated by small businesses. Very few produce the p... More..
If death was a choice how can one explain those who live against all odds or those who die for no apparent reason? I used to listen to my parents say that no one dies before their time and it didn't make sense. What about the aborted babies? The innocents killed by a drunk driver? But as I grew older and experienced so man... More..
